THE CLIENT
The MYLAN Group is a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Amsterdam, NL, which is specialized in the production of high-quality pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
THE TASK
In the laboratory building for quality control already planned and constructed by CP Bauteam in 2003, new wet chemical laboratory workplaces for 10-20 new employees and a capacity increase of about 30% were to be integrated.
THE PLANNING PROCESS
In close cooperation with Carpus + Partner AG, the planning was prepared. The floor optimisation enabled the subsequent realization of the project within budget.
THE REALIZATION PROCESS
The conversion during ongoing operation was carried out in close coordination with the users. In this process, the fire protection upgrading of the existing building was also implemented.
THE CHALLENGE
In order to guarantee the company’s continued operation, a comprehensive logistics concept was necessary to ensure that production could be continued in compliance with internal quality requirements as well as legal and official regulations.
