The first day of the 2026 F.A.Z. Construction Congress in Aachen offered numerous insights into the future topics facing the construction industry.
The focus was on the challenges and opportunities surrounding sustainability, digitalization, automation, and innovation.
Particular emphasis was placed on the question of how construction projects can be implemented more successfully and efficiently in the future. The presentation by Dr.-Ing. David Peters (formerly Klein) on partnership-based project delivery models highlighted a key success factor: The increasing complexity of construction projects requires close, transparent, and trusting collaboration among all project stakeholders.
